Large group walks aren’t right for every little dog. Some can feel overwhelmed by bigger, busier groups, while others simply don’t get the chance to walk alongside dogs who match their size, personality and play style.


Furward was created to do things differently.


Our walks are exclusively for small dogs, with every dog carefully considered for compatibility before they join a group. We start small, pairing suitable companions and allowing groups to grow naturally as friendships develop.

And there’s another difference: your dog is being walked by a qualified dog behaviourist. While our walks are not training sessions, my professional experience means I understand canine behaviour, body language and social interactions - so your little dog is in knowledgeable, capable hands.


For £15 per dog, your companion gets a one-hour group walk with time to sniff, explore, socialise appropriately and simply enjoy being a dog.

Meet Chelsie

The person behind Furward

Hi, I’m Chelsie. I’ve spent over 13 years working with dogs, with experience as a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist. I’m passionate about understanding dogs as individuals and creating experiences that are enjoyable, positive and suited to them.


I hold a Level 3 PETbc Accredited Dog Behaviour Diploma with the British College of Canine Studies, giving me a strong understanding of canine behaviour, body language and social interactions.


When your dog joins Furward, I’ll take the time to get to know them, their personality, confidence, likes and dislikes, before carefully matching them with suitable walking companions.


Because every dog is different, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My experience means I can recognise when a dog is comfortable, when they need a little more space, and which companions are likely to make a great match.



Your little adventurer won’t just be another dog on a walk. They’ll be known, understood and cared for.

Is My Dog Suitable?

Furward is specifically designed for small, sociable dogs who can enjoy walking alongside another suitable dog.

Before your dog’s first group walk, I’ll meet you and your dog to make sure the service is suitable for them.


Your dog should be:

  • Small-sized and within Furward’s weight guidelines
    (up to15kg)
  • Comfortable around other suitable dogs
  • Able to walk safely on lead
  • Suitable for a shared walking environment


Every dog is assessed individually, so if you’re unsure whether Furward would be right for your dog, just ask.
